Hello – I’m a new ham (11/18/20) in Jackson, Michigan. I work as a Skydive Photographer and AFF Instructor as the Napoleon (3NP) Airport, which gives me a lot of free time in the winter to explore various hobbies. This year, I wandered into the world of amateur radio.
Welcome to this site, not to much to share yet, but I am working on a few projects and some big plans for spring! If height is might, hello altitude! I can’t wait to try out my HT while flying my canopy. I’m hoping their will be lot of people listening for CQ calls from a parachutist.
In the mean time, be sure to check out this post I wrote for the ARRL on how to run FT8 after getting 1000 contacts in 14 days. Looking forward to hearing you in the air!
